it’s like i’m entering the real-world.

i’ve found myself full-time employment with a national news agency, barely a year out of school, and i get benefits and vacations and a real wage and business cards.

still in halifax, and i like it here and it will be nice not to move — cities, i mean; we still must move apartments — and who knows what will happen later on with jobs and locations, so for now this is where i am. five days a week, two of those on weekends, and really jumping head-first into the all-powerful media that you frequently hear so much about.

i’m in the Annapolis Valley right now, a great start to work taking four days off as soon as i get hired. it’s hot and sunny and just calm here in the valley. there’s goats, llamas and eagles in the zoo, and the waterfalls by the ocean. we’ve eaten lots and drank lots of beer, and mostly just sat around to avoid creating more heat, because quite frankly it seems we have enough heat as it is.
